ND trip 2009

Part 3 0r is it 4?:

Anyway....One day we went shopping in Plentywood. Only most of the stores we wanted to go to were closed. So we went to the park for a bit instead.

We all had to try this wheely thing. The children loved it. But for us older ones it was a tad harder.


Susan did OK on it.


Mom had a really hard time with it.

















Next we had to try the marry-go-round.



There was a climbing wall so Jay could climb to his hearts content.






Ayla even got into climbing.

Then Beth had to try the slide glider thing.

And Dorcas the monkey bars.

Jay had to hang up-side down just like a monkey. ;)

We had a really fun time. Thanks to Dorcas.

On one of the first days that we were there I took my children out on the 4-wheeler. They LOVED it. It was a tad chilly....But fun.


Susan and Beth came along on the other 4-wheeler.

Note the dog riding with the children and I? Every time he heard a 4-wheeler start up he wanted to come along.

It's what you get from riding 45 on a 4-wheeler with a 30 mile hour wind. :)

One evening we went to Earl and Ruth's for supper. Some of the girls painted nails.



















One day we went with the Meager clan to pick June berries.
The berries were good and the fun and fellowship were even better. :)

The June berries!! We picked for about 2 hours.

Ayla had fun! Jay did too.(now where is my picture of him?) He had a great time climbing the June berry trees.

The day before we left, Andrew offered to let Jay ride on the swather with him. Jay rode with him all day long. HE LOVED IT!

They did not come in for lunch so we took them something.

All Ready to go again. He did not want to come with me. He was ready to ride again.

The next day we headed home.
